By the 1910 census Theodore was the only child born to Jesse and Mary Stacey, after eight years of marriage. Jesse was a ‘laster’ (see note 1) working in a shoe factory in Glastonbury who had been born in Bristol. Mary nee Windmill and her mother had been born in Huntspill, near Bridgwater, Somerset. Mary may have died in Blackpool in 1965 aged 88 years.
