Hello,
I am researching people, buried in Deansgrange cemetery, Dublin, who served in India during the Raj. I am hoping to start a blog on such people (inviting contributions from descendants and others).
There is mention of Lt Col Arthur Oram who, according to his father’s diaries, was an engineer in the Indian Public Works.
I wonder if you could give me some more information about him and perhaps a photo or two?
Thank you
I think the Arthur Oram you refer to is: Arthur “Attie” Oram 1885-1965
You will find a picture and short write-up on this page:

Please feel free to use the picture in your blog.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
Chris Oram
