Parents: either born 1790 to Henry and Hannah or in 1792 to George and Mary
Siblings: depends on parents
Died: Enfield Town December 1846 aged 50 yrs (ie born 1796)
SARAH PATTENDEN: Birth 1796 Hurstpierpoint, Sussex
Parents: Jacob Pattenden 1765-1838 and Sarah Measor 1769-1839
Siblings: William Henry Pattenden 1806-1873
Died: 1879 Enfield aged 82 years

We hope that sometime DNA will confirm that Eliza’s father was John Day born in Ickleford, Hertfordshire either in 1790 to Henry and Hannah or in 1792 to George and Mary.
Sarah’s background is confirmed by her mother’s maiden name Measor being included in one of their son’s name and Pattenden in another.
Enfield and Edmonton parish records suggest that John, an agricultural labourer and Sarah lived for all or part of the time in Chase Side.
