Eliza’s early life

My research into census returns leads to Eliza being related to the Day family of Ickleford, just north of Hitchin, Hertfordshire. This large family includes John born 1792 and it makes sense that John would seek work in the parish of Enfield including part of the Lea Valley, a market garden area supplying London with vegetables. I suspect that John Day was an agricultural labourer rather than an independent farmer.
